故事的主角武笠美姬是一位不擅长与人交往的少女，也没有自己热爱的活动，但是在遇到好奇心旺盛的转学生高屋敷绫后开始寻找快乐的动心，再加上从班长大野翠那里得知了桌游相关的事情，开始发现玩桌游是件非常快乐的事情，于是武笠美姫、高屋敷绫、大野翠与德日混血的游戏咖啡店店长的女儿艾米莉亚一起成立了「放课后桌游俱乐部」，几位高中女生放课后天天玩各种各样的桌游，漫画中出现了很多在现实中存在的桌游，同时通过剧情和JK角色来介绍世界各地各种桌游的玩法，德系桌游m.ysgou.cc、日系桌游在作品中都有登场。如果这部漫画改编成动画的话，那就是一个桌游玩家的狂欢，说不定还能带动一些认知度较低的游戏扩大知名度，玩桌游真快乐，在动脑的同时还能带动人际关系之间的融洽让角色不断的成长。
