舞台剧演员林门风正在排演卡夫卡的变形记,戏正在紧锣密鼓,预备演出中,他的法国女友Julie也到达台北,他们会晤之后,二人共渡良夜,第二天人却掉落了。 林门风被绑匪掳走后,法国女友在家苦等多时,而同时苦恋林门风的戏院助理凤梨因找不到演员,而找上门,法国女生Julie在凤梨的帮助下,开端寻人,走入台湾社会风趣且奇怪的斑驳陆离。 而三名绑匪在黑帮老迈忽然被捕后,发生内乱。二位绑匪有意行刺人质,绑匪之一的尤干决议继承绑架,带着林门风开端一场流亡旅途,而步上险境的两人,却也在流浪掉所的路程中发生不测的认同感。 也许就像Julie跟鳯梨在庙里掷出的笑筊一样,运气给了她们统一个谜底:笑而不答,谜底终极是本人的挑选。
